Well, they were under 30 percent in two-point, and three-point shooting and only 36 percent in free throw shooting, so they must have found that stroke awfully late. I can't recall the last time I saw a team shoot under 40 percent from the free-throw line as a team. As for the three-pointers, live by them and die by them.Originally posted by bballfan03 View Post
Michigan Tech was a decent 3 point team, but they looked SO uncomfortable shooting 3s in the first half.. they werent even rushed. Some were wide open opportunities they just bricked or aired. 2nd half they found a stroke but luckily Gannon started scoring again too.

Beat 15-13 Jessup by 3Originally posted by IUPalum View Post
What??? Most of their wins were by double digits! What the F are you looking at???
Beat 14-12 Seattle Pacific by 3
beat 9-19 Cal State LA by 8
beat 8-19 Chico state by 2
beat 14-15 cal state san Bernardino by 3
They have a lot of double digit wins.. against teams that have double digit losses.
Power ranking 18th, 111th in offense. Their opponent record was 496-494.

That team had an off game. Unlike others, I watched them a few games this year. They were better than they played. Scoreboard watching doesn't tell the story like some of these clowns think. Look at IUP women against Holy Family, prime example. They played their worst game of the year against them, then bounced back and played well against Mesa. It happens.Originally posted by Chuck Norris View Post
I was surprised. The West region representative is historically almost always a tough out. I’d never heard of East Bay, but most had never heard of Dominguez Hills and they darn near took the whole thing last year. I guess we’ll see tomorrow just how good Oklahoma Baptist really is.

Theyre most definitely better than what they played, but still nothing great. They play a bunch of nobodies. CSU EB and OBU could play 10x, cal state wins 2 games at most.Originally posted by IUPalum View Post

That was my first time watching a 'full' Nova game.Originally posted by Bballfan View PostNova Southeastern was playing with fire all tournament. It eventually caught up with them.
I think Gannon would have beat Nova by 10-12 points. Gannon would have been a physical nightmare for Nova.
Lander will be a much tougher matchup. They give it back.

They give it back and have a week to rest and prepare. Lander has beaten the "system" four times this year. Should be a good one!Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post
