KWC has had a very long athletic history with St. Joseph's and it is sad that this will be the last athletic event for the Pumas.

This game will make for a good story line in numerous publications.

On a very positive note for KWC and the G-MAC, KWC will advance after today and will be among the top 32 teams still playing in the NCAA D2 Baseball Tournament.

It was a gutsy performance and one that should strengthen the KWC baseball program and garner respect for the G-MAC.

The 2017 NCAA D2 Baseball Tournament does not end for the KWC players and Coach Todd Lillpop. How many #8 seeds are still left in the National tournament?
Much like basketball, there is very very little respect for GMAC baseball. KDub was the auto bid with a slightly above .500 record and the conference's only rep as the 8 seed. They were blown out in the opener. Unless they advance to the WS, winning a couple games in a bad regional means nothing.

I posted this on the Football Board. I got curious and looked this up.

KWC Football player and alum Keelan Cole signed a three year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars for $1.665 Million.

He will be a Restricted Free Agent in 2020.

I agree. KWC leads 2-1 going into the bottom of 4th. KWC is at bat.

I posted on that thread. One poster said, "the G-MAC is under pressure to expand." I reminded them that the G-MAC is expanding next season and the season after that. I also posted a few other thoughts. Some members on the Football Board blasted me back in the day.

The G-MAC is going to be fine.

There is a good article on NCAA.com - The article highlights the Midwest regional baseball tournament and Northwood, St. Joseph's, and KWC in particular.

I'm convinced that the only reason the MEC posters recently pulled a 180 on AB is because of their unified hatred of WJU.
