Physically, Weyer might be the best match up against Tag, but I'm afraid that the veteran would be taking the freshman to school. Tag is similar to Jake Thelan. He may not be quite as crafty as Thelan, but he is stronger and more aggressive. He is probably the POY of the GLVC right now, although there are lots of games to be played. His weakness does appear to be fouling. He has 4 or more fouls in 8 of their games.
Even though he has only fouled out of one game, it does appear that his minutes have been limited by foul trouble. I am sure that Scotty has been looking at plenty of tape and figuring out the best way to draw fouls on him.
Agree with you about next year's potential starting line up. And also about Coles, can't say enough good things about his play.
