Physically, Weyer might be the best match up against Tag, but I'm afraid that the veteran would be taking the freshman to school. Tag is similar to Jake Thelan. He may not be quite as crafty as Thelan, but he is stronger and more aggressive. He is probably the POY of the GLVC right now, although there are lots of games to be played. His weakness does appear to be fouling. He has 4 or more fouls in 8 of their games.
Even though he has only fouled out of one game, it does appear that his minutes have been limited by foul trouble. I am sure that Scotty has been looking at plenty of tape and figuring out the best way to draw fouls on him.

Agree with you about next year's potential starting line up. And also about Coles, can't say enough good things about his play.

Unfortunately for these next three games I think there is a much better chance of us going 0-3 rather than 3-0. I think Quincy will come out fired up to try to beat us. BU won a war against them last year at home and I expect Quincy to want some serious revenge. Truman seems like our most favorable match up of the three. USI will obviously show up for the big rivalry game but so will we. This seems like the stretch where we find out how good this team really is. Should be good experience for the freshman and this could give us the best idea of where we land in the regional rankings at the end of the year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from looking at BU's, QU's, and TSU's sites, neither of these games is going to be webcasted.

All GLVC teams are required to stream basketball on the GLVCSN-- my guess is that the links will go live later this week.

Fantastic effort against a really good Quincy team. Rusty is back, 13 of 13 from the FT line....amazing. This is like the Rusty of prior years. Coles, Jenkins, Davis, Cook all were great in the clutch and Eberhard with 30 pts. Adam E. and others on the team were apparently fighting off a virus bug during the week. I don't know if we are going to have much in the tank to travel across northeastern Missouri to play Truman..supposedly freezing rain on the roads, etc. and after that a trip to E'Ville to play SIU, maybe the strongest team in the conference. Proud of the Knights tonight. Alex Cook with a blocked shot at the end of overtime. A lot of things to be happy about.

Huuugggee win last night. What a gutsy game. Rusty was awesome and Eberhard , after a slow start, showed why he is an all American. Didn't know until after the game that he and several others on the team had the bug. Today's game is rather ridiculous. Not sure Truman playing Creighton is worth this mess. If BU can pull this one off, no matter what they do Monday, they are for real. You think the boss will let me out early to watch the game?

Got to say those Quincy commentators may have been the most ranked amateurs I have ever heard doing a broadcast. They had to be students. Besides the George Dusty Rusty thing I'm not sure they got Jenkins and Coles straight the whole night. I'm not sure they got their own team right half the time either. I think a four year old could have done better and at least have been more entertaining.

Those of you planning to watch the Truman game online, you will get to hear 2 very good announcers. I was highly impressed by their production.

Almost game time for the Knights. I can't decide if I'd rather see them lose (to get break up the 4-way tie and let us pull ahead) or if I want them to win (makes Monday's game mean a lot more).
I've a gut feeling that if they lose, they'll bite back hard for sure on Monday.
