And Oregon was in the first BCS title game.

True. SC won it in 2004. And as Kahn notes, Oregon was runner up once this century.

              • New Mexico State has cancelled fall football. Now 54 FBS schools have done so- 76 have not.

                • NSIC is cancelling ALL sports until Jan 1, 2021. The official announcement will be later today but the athletes are being informed now.

I saw it coming to be honest. It's a bummer, but that's the way it is right now.

Runners up in 06 as well. Great game, one of the best.

But yeah, the SEC has been pretty dominant for the rest of the way.

Dabo knows his Clemson team is really loaded and primed for another run at the national championship this year. Add in the fact that with fewer teams and games being available for competition for the big big dollar network broadcast, the teams (and conferences) that will be playing will be receiving a major money windfall for their programs. If they stick to traditional and competitive college football as we know it, it's pretty much assured that these games will draw huge ratings throughout the season. This is especially true due to the fact that real sports fans across the nation are very eager to see real competition rather than modified and entertainment.

Small thing I noticed about this graphic - but D2 technically has three independents with the recent addition of Allen University. They joined less than a month ago. Doesn't appear to be any sort of announcement on their end just yet.

The ACC is right there, too. At least Clemson.
