In the game vs the Midgets last Monday, the Eagles almost had to
put in a 40 year old backup QB as a receiver because they only had one left.

One of the commentators mentioned that that during yesterdays game the Eagles entire receiving core was from the practice squad. That's pretty significant.

And yet Seattle found a way to win on the road with 6 out on defense at the end of the game. That is over half their defense being backups!

Having to go 30 yards for a first down to seal the game, is that what you mean? 1st and 10, 2nd and 4, 2nd and 14, 3rd and 1, 3rd and 11. Then Panthers have defensive holding as Seattle gets the first down without it so they can't run out the clock....

Just saw how close ending was in SF... after I gave up thinking they had game won at home. Seattle back to first in division!
