Having another hot-air balloon incident in the Super Bowl pregame seems pretty on-brand for the Vikings.

Dec. 14, 1969, 11 year old Rick Snyder was placed in a hot air balloon during a Minnesota Vikings halftime show. He was only supposed to go up about 100 feet to promote an upcoming hot air balloon race. The balloon wasn't properly tethered and disappeared into the sky.

Rick managed to land the balloon in the Minnesota River and a bystander rescued him and took him back to the stadium.

Glad I stuck up for you on that one? Any word on if they transformed the jail into storage or something else? Now if a hotel at the stadium, that could be really cool like the one at Hethrow Airport.

There was a jail at the Linc, but it closed down. If they didn't turn it into something else there would still be a jail, just a non-functional jail.
