Yeah, you can’t go out of your way to go confront a fan. Unfortunately DK seems like a guy who can be gotten to fairly easily. The fan he “hit” seems like a total POS who Metcalf actually reported to Seahawks security last year when they were playing in Detroit. I’m sure he’s one of these pieces of trash who thinks buying a ticket entitles him to do what he wants. Allegedly he said some vile stuff last year. Nevertheless, gotta be smarter than that and ignore it, though I’m sure it gets really difficult.

He got two games. He's appealing today. They'll reduce it to a single game.
Here's a funny question: Who becomes WR1? Good Lord.

Most people in his income range are surrounded by 'yes men' nearly 365 days a year. They think they are drastically more famous than they actually are, etc.
It is, however, amazing D.K. was able to just waltz over there without any staff or security intervening. If you see the aerial view it's a fairly decent distance from the bench area to that railing.
They will need a 'get back' coach on the front and backside.
How he wasn't arrested is a legit question. Some drunk in the stands throws that same punch he's going to the stadium jail (and then to county).
Abuse is abuse whether it is physical, mental or social.Team should've suspended him. Lamar should've been suspended earlier in the year. Shaq Lawson should've been suspended when he hit a fan a couple years ago. All of these should've been treated the same.

Him walking that distance in the middle of a game to confront the guy, with no evidence that he said anything really vile, is likely what sunk the appeal. Two games feels a bit excessive to me, but I can understand Goodell wanting to send a message here.
DK makes $250k per game so he'll miss some cash. Allegedly his contract would have triggered $45M in guaranteed money without a suspension.
He also better hope some proof surfaces that the guy said racist, misogynistic stuff if he’s going to continue to push that accusation or he’s going to get sued. He might already be getting sued for “punching” the guy.

He may have gotten off lighter had he just had a verbal confrontation but once he swung at the fan...that was it.
Players have know there are multiple TV cameras on them and of course the nearly 70K cameras in everyone's pocket.
