I guess the big news ...or should we say "big deal" is that he's a former 4-Star WR. IUP has had a former 4-Star player on their team and he didn't quite pan out. But hey, we shall see....that's if he's the "surprise" WR.

I thought the story was that Redfield was kicked off the ND team the spring leading into the summer that he transferred to IUP.

Redfield was dismissed from Notre Dame in August 2016. He joined IUP in Aug 2017:

And then there was last years big time receiver transfer from WVU. I did hear a kid from Temple might be coming, but he was a walk on there last year and didn't play.

Ship did get a nice FCS transfer, and he's a running back, where I thought they were relatively weak last year. Jaelen Thompson arrived from Towson; he led Middletown into two straight state finals in high school.

I totally get what you're saying, and I pretty much agree.

But let's remember that Charles already showed big-play ability in P5 action. He turned the '17 Minnesota game around with an 80-yard TD catch.
