According to Sports-Reference/CFB the transfer guy from PSU has two career tackles and the one from Bama doesn’t even have a player page. They don’t exactly scream “impact player.”

AB's closing shouldn't impact the PSAC a whole lot from the transfer perspective. Only 3 players from PA and they're all from the WPIAL - 1 Clairton, 2 brothers from North Hills.

I wouldn’t think much of anything off an 0-11 squad, just sayin.

They had already lost their top lineman. He went in the Portal early and landed at a (smaller) D1 program.

Has anyone studied how many 1st team d2 players who enter the portal actually receive d1 scholarship offers? Is it common? I have to think there are very few as d1 teams had already invested so much in their original scholarship athletes

More than you'd probably think. Those players they invest in leave constantly too.

Remember, 'D1' can mean Alabama or Robert Morris just like a 'D2' first teamer from IUP and Lock Haven are pretty different.
