Your argument is like saying for a marching band competition that one section, let's say the drum section, should carry more weight in the scoring than all other sections for the following reasons: 1) you value the drum section higher than all others, and 2) certain schools spend more money on the drums, more scholarship players, more expensive equipment, etc.

So, the woodwind section and the brass section could stink and the band can't march in sync, but because someone (e.g. you) believes it's all about the drums the band with the best drum section should be recognized as the overall best. Your argument only reflects your personal values.

According to Christopher Walken, a rock band is all about the cowbell. Without that cowbell, the band is no good. "More cowbell, please."

Golf is one of the sports that can be run like a D3 program - kids will come for the roster spot more than the scholarship money. They know they're not D1 so they're chasing opportunity. IUP is also fortunate to have a nice country club in town for the teams. I was just chatting with a PSAC AD about this yesterday - a few PSAC schools don't even have a public goat path course in town.

Can you, for one moment, have some sense of compassion for an athlete that doesn't play football, basketball, or baseball? Are they not athletes that deserve respect and consideration?

No, you see, some athletes are more equal than others. There is a strict sports hierarchy that must be followed in every walk of life.

Golf lab is a fun name for a former racquetball court with some hitting nets and a putting green. I imagine they have some launch monitors as well so guys can at least hit all year long. That's the hardest thing with having golf teams in this region - if you want to play more than half the year you need to travel or else you're limited to indoor practice.

It worked perfect. A racquetball court is the perfect size to convert. Those courts were in the dungeon of the Field House and weren't even being used (hardly) anymore. The newer and much nicer courts are in the HUB.

Golf here is a sweet gig. Their home course is Indiana Country Club which is a phenomenal course. They've quietly built a dynasty in golf within the PSAC. Of course, nobody knows about it.

I thought the Golf lab or whatever was in the KCAC. All I know is it on the IUP sports Facilities Video on Chad Hurley Tube.

I spent many an hour playing racquetball on those Fieldhouse courts. Also, played handball on them. Handball would get preference. You never had to wait for a court. You could just jump line in front of everybody, probably because most of the handball players were professors or administrators.
