Of course they won't! Someone told me that Garrett Greene would put up insane numbers at Shepherd as well. I mean, probably. But I'll eat my hat if Greene makes a roster in the NFL.

I'd be curious what a starting CFL quarterback makes compared to an NFL backup QB. Thinking Trevor Harris.
      Here you go!!!

Do not agree on that one. He has carved out a career in the NFL as a starter at best....a great jorneyman backup at worst.

Don't think you are following the conversation here. Was in regard to Trevor Harris, not Bagent. Bagent has secured a spot in the NFL for the next 1-2 years I'd think, and hopefully longer. Always day to day at best in the NFL or even year to year. Especially when the team your on, cycles through coaches as fast as they do. New regime, they don't care and could easily move on.

                • Tyson should get alot of playing time tomorrow night with Caleb Williams sitting out. Sounds like Tyson will get alot of exposure this preseason. I will be pulling for him. Ram fans do you have any information regarding Tyson?

From what I've read he will be starting. Go Tyson!

He had a fun interview the other day, media asked him his thoughts about the Bears bringing in competition for the back up QB positions. Thought his answer was great. They followed up by asking about his offseason and he highlighted a workout he and a buddy did, which was a burpee/broadjump for an entire mile that took him an hour and 7 mins. I almost passed out just listening!

Hopefully he can have another solid preseason and keep it rolling!

Their No. 1 overall pick QB is getting blasted by the national media for not playing tonight.

Not his call. Bears not playing any starters

That's a little hilarious since starters probably play less in exhibition games these days than they have for most of NFL history. With a 17-game NFL schedule, I doubt you're going to see many teams risk their studs much in pre-season games. I'm old enough (and yeah I'm pretty old) to remember when the NFL played a 12-game schedule, and even then they usually didn't play regulars for more than a half.

                              Seems the sentiment was more:

                              A) earn the right to take preseason games off (not rookies)

                              B) they have a whole new offense and new players everywhere ... and that takes time to gel

                              C) the Bears suck - and have sucked for a very long time. They need the reps - even if it is against guys headed to Walmart in a month.

Believe me, I could care less either way. I just happened to have several hours in the car yesterday with Sirius radio and that's all they were talking about about on the national shows.

                              • Bummer that Tyson only seemed to get 1 drive last night, then it was Rypien the rest of the time.
