The NE10 suffered the same kind of rudeness last year from a former member, cough Stonehill cough, who left the conference while the rest of the current members, all had them on the schedule, with one less game.

That, unfortunately, seems to be the trend with a lot of these former D2 schools moving up to D1. If you're going to make the move from D2 to D1, the NCAA should at least set a firm deadline of early to mid February so the former conferences have more time to prepare for a departure.

Yes....cause IUP has shown the ability to make a deep run into the National playoffs recently... they need the week off for rest.

              Final Four in 2017.

When was the last time Bloomsburg made the 'final four' in the freaking East division?

It's impossible to predict the impact on IUP. Assuming they are in the playoff hunt it probably hurts them. How much, nobody knows. It hurts their standing for the playoffs because they would probably beat Hurst and losing a game in the W column hurts you.

Lol. So easy to trigger but its good to know you agree we me if you need to go back 7 years.. Coaches and players want to play football games. It makes the team better. Who knows...there could be a big play in that game that triggers the run that mirrors 7 years ago for you. Just ask the coaches and players in Kutztown.

Not easy to trigger. You're just trolling. It's all Bloom fans have left to do.

Your team when from Huskies to the little no-bite, triad Chihuahua. Enjoy being irrelevant.

It's why your star RB came here to be the third down back. Maybe.

                    Now, that's some LOL

I mean it probably still would have been a BYE week playing The Lake Show but if I'm Torts...I'm not playing that week and getting the troops refreshed.
IUP might wanna get past Cal, Slippery Rock ... and *checks notes* Seton Hill before even thinking about the 2024 State Game. Just a thought...

We are coming back to reclaim what rightfully is only ours.

                          • For teams looking to fill their open dates with Mercyhurst's departure, St. Augustine's (CIAA) announced they would be suspending their football program for next season, so several CIAA schools will have open dates on their end.

In other words this is the end of the program. One would assume the whole roster will be in the portal.

Interesting move. That will be 100 less students at a broke school.

The school itself has effectively gone to exclusively online learning, so apparently, the physical campus is closed but they're probably going to finish the semester before deciding what to do.

For that matter, the entire school will essentially be "in the portal" given that St Augs is on the verge of closing for good.
