    WEEK 8

Fairmont State at Edinboro (-7.5): I think Boro is back on track. Playing FSU for the first time since 1991. Weather looking exotic for Edinboro in October.

West Chester (-3.5) at Lock Haven

IUP at Slippery Rock (-3.5): Seton Hill sucks, so its hard to tell if Rock is back on track. However, this is the Rock Homecoming game vs IUP, so expect 8,000 fans, rock dancing, yelling at refs, fisticuffs, etc.

    Gannon at Seton Hill (-1.5)

    Shepherd (-3.5) at Bloomsburg

    Clarion at California (-5.5)

    Millersville at Kutztown (-35.5)

    Shippensburg at East Stroudsburg (-21.5)

Saginaw Valley at Grand Valley State (-14.5)

    St. Olaf at Bethel (-24.5)

    Wartburg (-24.5) at Loras

    Tennessee at Alabama (-9.5)

    USC at Notre Dame (-8.5)

Fairmont State at Edinboro (-7.5). Unless Coach Scott is discouraged being passed over for Matt Rhule

West Chester (-3.5) at Lock Haven. First game since 2007 where WCU has the younger quarterback

IUP at Slippery Rock (-3.5). Message on SRU scoreboard says "TOL: 0"

Gannon at Seton Hill (-1.5) No Name 46 Doomsday Purple People Eater Steel Curtain Fearsome Foursome may actually be a thing

Shepherd (-3.5) at Bloomsburg. Luck about to change. Unless it doesn't

Clarion at California (-5.5). Any other games where one team's name is made up of letters from the other?

Millersville at Kutztown (-35.5). Can plucky underdog Bears open more eyes this week?

Shippensburg at East Stroudsburg (-21.5). Ship O keeps it close. Ship ex-gf still too distant

Saginaw Valley at Grand Valley State (-14.5). WIDTTHT

St. Olaf at Bethel (-24.5). Game one of the...

Wartburg (-24.5) at Loras. ...Pixar doubleheader

Texas State (-3.5) at Marshall. Oddly named school as Texas does not consider itself a state

Tennessee at Alabama (-9.5). Two Southern schools

USC at Notre Dame (-8.5). Last meeting ever?

          WEEK 8

Fairmont State at Edinboro (-7.5)- I don't think the Scots are that good to cover that spread. Edinboro wins a close one.

West Chester (-3.5) at Lock Haven- That's a sharp line there. If Cooper is back, then easy cover for WC. But if he's still out, this is going to be a good game.

IUP at Slippery Rock (-3.5)- I think IUP smokes rock this year. 2+ td's.

          Gannon at Seton Hill (-1.5)

Shepherd (-3.5) at Bloomsburg- Shepherd gaining a bit of confidence. Leans on the run game to steal another W over the Huskies.

Clarion at California (-5.5)- What happened to Cal?

Millersville at Kutztown (-35.5)- Bears cover by halftime.

          Shippensburg at East Stroudsburg (-21.5)

Saginaw Valley at Grand Valley State (-14.5)

          St. Olaf at Bethel (-24.5)

          Wartburg (-24.5) at Loras

          Texas State (-3.5) at Marshall

          Tennessee at Alabama (-9.5)

          USC at Notre Dame (-8.5)

          BONUS

          1) Gannon will score over or under 24.5 points: Over

          2) Total combined points, Clarion at California, over or under 65.5: Over

          3) This PSAC road team will win by the largest margin: IUP

          4) Total combined points, this PSAC game (including FSU at Edinboro) will have the most (combined) points scored: Clarion/Cal

Fairmont State at Edinboro (-7.5): Fairmont's two wins vs. PSAC (Seton Hill and Bloomsburg) were one-possession games; I see a sort of similar outcome (Fairmont covers, but Scotties win)
West Chester (-3.5) at Lock Haven: DUBs 11 point win over the Baldies last season was the closest margin of victory since the Baldies moved to the PSAC East in 2013
IUP at Slippery Rock (-3.5): The Fighting Slippys 4-2 at home in last six vs. the Red Chickens... yet, this Slippy team feels wonky... IUP takes command of the PSAC West (and the board will never hear the end of it)
Gannon at Seton Hill (-1.5): The Stewies keep their composure and snag a win as #TeamLIT-AF gets LIT-UP-AF ... again
Shepherd (-3.5) at Bloomsburg: Bloomies have actually won the last two in this series in close games
Clarion at California (-5.5): All is not well in Vulcanland, especially on the defensive side of the ball... I'm expecting an "arena football" track meet and a third straight Vulcans loss
Millersville at Kutztown (-35.5): Bye week for the KUBs
Shippensburg at East Stroudsburg (-21.5): When Ship faces a divisional contender, the results aren't pretty

Saginaw Valley at Grand Valley State (-14.5): Grand Valley has won 12 in a row over Saggy and only four of those wins were by less than 10

St. Olaf at Bethel (-24.5): The closest margin of victory in this series for Bethel in their nine-game win streak over the Fighting Rose Nylans: 21 points in last season's game
Wartburg (-24.5) at Loras: It's hard to pick against a team that plays their home games at a place called the "Rock Bowl" and whose team are called the "Duhawks" ... except Wartburg has won the last 19 games in this series, with the last seven decided by 31, 42, 41, 37, 39, 55 and 55 (again) points

Texas State (-3.5) at Marshall: Texas State hasn't exactly taken that "next step" to become an upper tier Group of Six power; first - and likely last - meeting between these two schools
Tennessee at Alabama (-9.5): Vols haven't won in Tuscaloosa since 2003, are 4-12 since 2003 at Alabama and 3-17 in their last 20 against Nick Satan's juggernaut... Tide Rolls easily against a Tennessee team that looked ugly in their win last week
USC at Notre Dame (-8.5): Domers have won five of last seven against Lose-a-Lot Linc's squad, with five of those games double-digit wins

            BONUS

            1) Gannon will score over or under 24.5 points: Under (Gannon hasn't scored over 23 points in last five games vs. the Stewies)
            2) Total combined points, Clarion at California, over or under 65.5: Over
            3) This PSAC road team will win by the largest margin: West Chester (who benefits by playing the Baldies at the Hube)
            4) Total combined points, this PSAC game (including FSU at Edinboro) will have the most (combined) points scored: Clarion-Cal (neither team can play defense to save their lives)
Cal U (Pa.) Class of 2014
