    Well, then ... sorry for misreading your post, Brian. Overreacted. That 2014 Central game has been one of the thorns in my side since that NW one point OT loss without Starzl for basically the entire game.

    Not true ... our 6'10" Starzl was injured barely 3 minutes after the game got started. He didn't play the rest of the game, including the OT. NW loses by 1 pt. Heartbreaker.

    We went into the game in short sleeves and left our coats in the car- no re-entry so we about froze when the cold front came thru during the half. If memory serves there was also a little sleet/rain. It was bizarre how we went into the strong wind the entire 3rd qtr then we switched ends and no wind for VSU to deal with.

    I had a nice conversation with an NW alum abut the various breaks/games/happenings for each team. I know we had one of the best defenses in the country in 2009, the first eyar we had one of the best DII QBs in Mike Reilly. We CWU fans bemoan the fact that Reilly graduated and "if we had MR in 2009, we would have won it all!".

    Things happen.
