Doesn’t get much better than this…NW vs Pitt in KC with so much on the line. Johnny Mac should be a strong candidate for MIAA COY. Guaranteed at least a MIAA co-Championship for 1st time since’21 and a probable playoff spot for 1st time since’22 after 6-5/7-4 seasons

You can put money on JMac as COY and NW getting a PO spot, win or lose.

When will I again travel to the Kansas City metro to see the Gorillas and the Bearcats square off? The answer to that is never.

CMP is a good sized venue for a game like this. We certainly enjoyed our 2 prior visits however I’ll never attend a soccer game there

I was torn between going to this one and burning dog poop on the Pitt ADs porch for letting it happen.

I decided to go, since I'm too old to be hiding in the bushes.

If nothing else, I'll hopefully get some decent BBQ while I am up that way.

I think it will be even, or slight underdogs.

should be a fun game - looking forward to delightful weather for it. the venue is excellent for this type of matchup. i was over the novelty 20 years ago but support my school. if you revile it that much don’t go - the only way they’ll stop scheduling them is if they cease making $. that will never be me but the move is pretty simple if it’s that important to you.

Northwest will hopefully join Pitt in the Top 10 this week. Glad to have the ‘ Clash of Champions’ back in KC.

very even. we have a lot of seniors who could have pulled the rip cord the way this thing crashed & burned last yr. the next couple weeks is a great reward.

slight lean to pitt - their current iteration has played in more big games recently & comported themselves well enough. it’ll be a banger.

Our keys are easy: The coaching staff needs to prep/scheme well. Runke needs to not turn the ball over, the D (and in particular the secondary) needs to continue to play lights out. If ZO would show up and have a great game, that would be a bonus.

                        Also, water is wet :-).

A healthy Owens and Porter would be helpful.

NW went from no where to possibly in the top 10 while I think Pitt has been in the top 10 all year. NW had an easier non-con slate. Pitt has to be considered the favorite. It’s their ‘home’ game and based on current ticket sales they’ll have the larger crowd

I hope Berry is healthy. He went out hurt, late in the Mules game. With him, I like Pitt's chances, without him, not so much.
