Our two ace pitchers come back next year and we have only two senior starters that graduate. It is a very young team. Speaks well for future years if you are a Hoggie.

WT played Augustana in the second game of the season in Houston. I sat right behind home plate. Their catcher (who is extremely cute) hit a 3 run home run off of Starkey, who shut them out after that. Starkey went 3 for 4 at the plate including a late game triple that brought in 2 runs. Starkey was pitching so well it was evident Augustana knew they weren't going to hit her in the last couple of innings.

Great pitching this time of year is critical, and Kingsville has it. Good luck!

YES!!! The lady Javs hold on to win 7-5 to take game 1. We are one win away to our school's first National Championship in softball.
