You backed your boy. Who did male the comments BI said he did.
I don't require you to do either and you know that. I'm not thin skinned but I'm also not going afraid to push back against criticism.

The comments were not passive aggressive. He was directly critical of CWU for losing to Montana Tech. There was nothing passive about it at all.

And I DO PUSH BUTTONS to get responses. Thst IS my M.O. I PLAY THE HEEL. For GOD knows sometimes if I don't this board is like crickets.

But that isn't what I was doing.

I was taking up for Buffalo/Islander Alum as you both ganged up on him for expressing his thoughts.

It might be your site we all support, but that doesn't mean you are always right or I'm gonna kiss your azz.

You backed your boy and I stood up for Buffalo/Islander Alum

Bottom line, maybe don't sh!t where you eat.
I appreciate your support friend but to be fair I did start the $hit storm with my comments so I am not totally innocent.

I did send my comments to Brandon and offered an apology to Witt for being over the top.

Going to be honest with you BI, when I listened to it, I heard nothing that I deemed to be passive aggressive. I thought it was an honest evaluation of how the seeding was likely to have taken place.
Thats cool and I can live with that assessment.

I will say Central Washington's "#7 seed" was due to only having 8 D2 games and the lack of any quality wins, not so much because the NCAA was doing an "I gotcha" because they lost to an NAIA team.

Also part of it was Western Colorado was the closest team to fly them too.

If the NAIA games doesnt count then it doesnt count 100% in all aspects which includes the seeding.

When I looked at the comments on the video Witt was lead into that conversation by the RMAC columnist so he was just responding to that and agreeing.

Lets hope for good games this weekend.

Well here's the deal....there is no criteria about bad losses, but I know for a fact they are considered and have been for a few years. I think you'd agree that the should be.

If a playoff team lost to a team like WNMU, it wouldn't come up in any of the criteria outside of PI, which does not seem to be used. They could be 10-1 and come out better than say Grand Valley, which lost to Colorado MInes. Grand Valley would have a loss to a regionally ranked team. Team X would not. Grand Valley would have a loss to a team >.500. Team X would not. Etc. Etc.

This is something much easier to explain over the phone or video or whatever.

                    Absolutely.

I totally get bad D2 losses which is why I dismissed any Wayne State talk because they lost to a sub .500 Northern State even though they were the only team to beat Augustana.

The question then becomes do we start counting NAIA/FCS games to have more incentive instead of the $$$ either way?

I give Central Washington posters a lot of flack for fun but I do feel for Central Washington and Western Oregon trying to fill those non conference games with little options.

I didn't think razzing someone over a podcast would create the cluster it did but here we are.

No one will scare me off the board that I promise you. :)

Of course it will as it should.

Difference is the next generation will do the celebrating on facebook and most likely wont/dont know this site exists.

Only seeing 3-5 Central Washington posters tops shows the times we are in.

Good luck and enjoy the ride.

This cracks me up every time 🙂 The next generation won’t know Facebook exists. They’re not using that app now, and haven’t for years.

If lumping all social media together as Facebook, then sure.

On a more serious note: Good luck to the teams playing today! Here’s to hoping for good games, no injuries and no blowouts*

*this just gives coattail riders a chance to talk sh!t about something they had absolutely nothing to do with…ha

Regarding Facebook, I have several recent college graduates in my list. Yes they also use twitter and instagram which are somewhat limited.

My European friends tend to use instagram more often. I find it’s a big time waster. I avoid TikTok, which is a Chinese data gathering app. It’s also intended to waste young people’s time with entertaining but mindless content, which is different content than what’s allowed in China.
