Not WCHA, but St Cloud's men's team is stuck in St. James- got rescued when their bus was stuck and are now at the Watonwan County Jail. Good place for them! :smile-big:

As of 02/25/2019 (Pairwise, Points, Remaining Schedule)

6 points left on the line! Mankato has the #1 seed locked up, Alaska is the 7 seed and Anchorage is out. That is all we know for sure going into the final weekend.

Based on basic math done quickly here at work:
-Mankato is the number 1 seed
-Bowling Green does have home ice for the Quarterfinals locked up as they can finish anywhere between 2 and 4.
-Northern Michigan can finish anywhere between 2 and 5.
-Lake Superior State can finish anywhere between 2 and 5.
-Bemidji State can finish anywhere between 3 and 6.
-Michigan Tech can finish anywhere between 4 and 6.
-Alaska is in at 7
-Huntsville and Ferris will battle for the 8 seed.
-Anchorage is out and will finish 10th.


#1 seed (4) Mankato (62 points): Bemidji
(16) Bowling Green (52 points): Huntsville
(26) Northern (50 points): home and home with Tech
(20) Lake State (47 points): Ferris
(33) Bemidji (45 points): at Mankato
(T-40) Michigan Tech (43 points): home and home with Northern
# 7 seed (48) Alaska (34 points): at Anchorage
(58) Huntsville (25 points): at Bowling Green

Two non-conference "series" for the Beavers are known for the 2019-20 season. They will travel to North Dakota for two games and take part in the revived Mariucci Classic with the Gophers, Mankato and St. Cloud. I hope the final two series are at home (St. Cloud maybe and someone else, I am assuming the Beavers will be making a trip to Alaska so there will be the fourth non-conference series).

Mankato also knows, through other teams' announcements, that they will host North Dakota for two, host Duluth for two, host Arizona State for two and take part in the Mariucci Classic. That should complete their non-conference schedule.

They didn't bother to plow the road on Sat because they knew it would blow on Sunday. All kinds of cars stuck- 212, 4, 15 and 71 were all closed. Total whiteout. My neighbor came with his Bobcat yesterday at 7 AM otherwise I'd still be shoveling. It is rock hard after that drifting. Like you, there isn't any place to push it anymore!

I'd like to go to Kato this weekend for hockey but not with all this snow predicted again. And the low temps.
