    Re: 2018-19 WCHA Hockey

Just like last weekend in St. Cloud for the Beavers. They could shut the SCSU offense down for one game, but not two. At least these two are in Bemidji.

Sorry, been a little AWOL here...... BSU tied at Michigan Tech 3-3 (Tech scored in the 3 on 3 OT to get the extra WCHA point) on Friday, and then got beat down 7-2 on Saturday. UGH!

But, it is "WHO HATES HUNTSVILLE" week in Bemidji this week!

BSU 4, Huntsville 0. Charlie Combs with a natural hat trick and Hank Johnson with the shutout.

            Same two teams tonight!

                Re: 2018-19 WCHA Hockey

BSU fell to UAH 4-2 on Saturday. If the Beavers want to be considered an upper team in the WCHA, you can't lose home games to UAH. With UAH and Alaska-Anchorage in Bemidji two weekends in a row, I really felt 12 points were necessary to keep pace with the Mavericks, Bowling Green, etc. Now, 9 points are a must, meaning sweep the Seawolves next weekend.

                UGH!

                    Re: 2018-19 WCHA Hockey

Not a good two weekends for the Beavers at home. Having two of the bottom teams in the WCHA at home with Huntsville and Anchorage and only getting a split out of the four games.... The Beavers are young this year and they are dealing with some injuries to upper classmen, but come on, you can't drop games at home to these two and expect to make a charge at the top of the standings...

At least the future is looking good for the youngsters.

Dang, wish I would have saw that last night. Sounds like a good game, would have been nice if the Mavs could have pulled it out....

BSU at Air Force this weekend in the Battle of the Serratore Brothers, Tom the coach at Bemidji, Frank rhe coach at Air Force. Tom's son Matt is a senior at Air Force but has been out most of the year with setbacks from concussions.

They had problems and didn't get it going until sometime in the third period so I didn't see any of it. What have the Mavs lost now, five in a row? Hsstings is coaching the national team- maybe this is good for recruiting but it hasn't helped the Mavs.

It is supposed to be on tonight since they play the late game with Arizona State. Hopefully they have it fixed.
