The Mavericks are on to the WCHA semifinals with a 4-1 win over Huntsville. Not a big crowd here, but they were sure loud as the clock ticked down.

My township road still hasn't been plowed- I had to call off my dental appointment today. I'm worried about snow turning to ice on my shed roofs.

That Saturday Gopher game on TV didn't seem to have a lot more people there than on Friday night.

Hopefully the weather will get better and more people show up for to see the Mavs take on the Lakers.

Mavs beat the Lakers 2-1. Bowling Green won their game tonight too. Both can close out their series tomorrow- or not.

Nice win for the Mavs. Hopefully they can win the series tonight. Last night's victory tied for the most single-season victories since 1980, when they were D2 in hockey.

BG up to 14th in the pairwise-rankings after last night's win over NMU. Hopefully a few upsets in ECAC and Hockey East tournaments can move them up closer to a safe spot and give the WCHA two teams in the NCAA tournament.

That's gotta be embarrassing for the U, to not even really be in the same conversation as SCSU/UMD/MSU. I get they're "rebuilding" with Motzko and whatnot, but still...

Depending on how the state basketball tournament plays out, I'm going to hopefully, finally make to to Mankato to see a hockey game. Might even see if I can use my shiny new MSU student ID! :smile-big:
