Why do I get the feeling we're going to end up seeing another WCU-ESU final? Because that seems to be a frequent matchup over the past several years in the PSAC final (2012 and 2014 come to mind), especially after an IUP-WCU semifinal. Not saying it's going to happen, but just throwing that out there.

VSU is a conference champion. Both 4 losses.

I'd take Ship over Fairmont.

Agree. FSU has been fish-tailing a bit toward the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised if a Ship passed them up.

Surprised they didn't at least flip-flop FSU and NDC. NDC just won a tourney and finished with the same record. Yet FSU still in at #5?

And with Nova & Valdosta meet in the second round, WLU ought to send a fan bus for the reunion tour!

The committee rankings have shown an odd affection for Fairmont State all season; I guess we shouldn't be surprised they kept them over Notre Dame. There's a realistic chance NDC and WL have to play each other again. Definitely an odd choice.

I agree. Jealous for you folks in Indiana. Wish I could park myself at the KCAC for 10 1/2 hours. The first-round of a regional is one of the best days you'll ever have.

I can't totally rule out 7-loss Shippensburg. Their resume isn't great but I don't think you can truly call them 'dead' just yet. They have one less loss than both WCU and Fairmont State.

7-8 is a total toss-up ... interchangeable.

I give you guys credit. You were pretty close to how it played out. You both nailed all 8 teams.

Looks like the disagreement you guys had with the committee was where FSU, ND and ESU should be. Both of you thought ESU was better than the committee did. Both of you thought FSU was worse than the committee did. You split on ND, IUPbigIndians thought ND was better than the committee did and alum thought ND was worse.
