Bruce Pearl said he was an extreme 'late bloomer'.


Reminds me (on a different scale) of Sleva from Ship. He was a 6'4" post player coming out of high school that nobody wanted. Then he hit a huge growth spurt and got up to 6'9" and became an elite player by his Jr. and Sr. seasons. He could have certainly played in the P4 his senior year. But, that was a different time.

Even bigger in football. The Ferris State Quarterback transferred to Ole Miss. Going from D2 to a Power 4 and one of the top two football conferences in the country. Crazy.
