Mavs were 3-24 from 3 and Malik was off. That was not the most pretty game but what a fight! Hazekamp was also 0-7 and scoreless before that last shot too. Wow

Mavs were 2-23 from 3 up until that buzzer beater. That was not the most pretty game but what a fight!

The teams combined were 5-43... both defenses got after it. Offensive rebounds and free throws at the end got us.... I think I'm more frustrated at trying to fight through that broadcast than I am at the result. Good luck in the Elite 8... make the region proud!

The score bug had zeros on the screen, but the teams kept playing! The final shot was obviously good. Red bars illuminated once the ball went into the rim.

Amazing game. Makes up for not getting a shot off in 2013.

Tenacious D from both teams. Tough atmosphere to play in with 4000 fans yelling at you and only 500 yelling for you. 2nd largest crowd ever at the arena.

You know me well, my friend. First thing that I did when I got back from Kato was fill up a tall cool one. Huge crowd, lots of people standing. Bearcat fans made a lot of noise, Mav fans even more. Great to see the students show up. Electric. One of those games where you trail almost the whole time- except when it counted. The only shot that he made all night. Wow, just wow.

Now I'm going to either St Joseph or Evansville- or both. They are seven hours away. Women play late on Monday, men sometime on Tuesday. This could be the most epic voyage since Jason and the Argonauts!
