Rumors swirling that Stan Gouard may take an assistant coaching position under Walter McCarty at Evansville. Anyone else hear this? That would be a nice pickup by McCarty.
Walter needs an xo type coach. I like Stan but not sure he is the best there is in this category. He can recruit well tho. Walt needs an experienced d1 guy who has called plays before. Because other than nba summer league a year or two, Walt has ZERO experience in that area.
chance coyle made a good dec- will play with good people, putting bad remarks on board doesnt do any good . recrutes can get on this board as well as you. ue lost a player posting bad ****,nothing is going to happen so stay posstive, we dont need to lose a good player over things we comment on.

There is no doubt in my mind if we had Ferris/Bellarmine players that we would still wouldn't have advanced in the tourney. Bellarmine has talented players but their offensive/defensive execution is what takes them to an elite level. Wod doesn't run an offense other than an occasional ball screee Any time you have 4 guys standing around watching the other one dribble...you aren't going to win big games. The team we had when Nelson was a senior was as talented as Ferris and we got beat that year by 5 slow and undersized kids from Michigan Tech. The team with Mohammed was good enough to get to a regional final, but got beat by a Drury team that we had just hammered 2 games prior. Wod is common theme here and it is painfully obvious.

Sadly, it apparently isn't obvious to the USI management team!
It is either that or they simply don't care. Either way it proves USI Management is damn lucky they didn't go into the private sector. They would have failed miserably.
Once I saw the diversity and inclusion statement being bigger than the actual meeting minutes I stopped there. Just a bunch of clowns running this outfit.
