Could D1 players get a stipend?

Yes, they do already get a stipend. My nephew is a freshman at Pitt. He gets $400 a month. Not sure if that's every month or the months within the Fall and Spring Semesters. The stipend increases as the players move through their years in college.

Curious if any quotes have surfaced regarding IUP's play selection at the end of the game (the pick six)? Did Tort comment anywhere as to why they passed?

I know Lenny threw the ball but he didn't call the play. It would be interesting to hear the logic.

At the 6 min mark of the Coach Tort Show all he stated was that the QB threw the ball a little late and the DB made a heck of a play. Nothing regarding the why they called a passing play:
