As a Philadelphia sports fan who has seen our city take countless gut punches in sports, it’s easy for me to process the disappointment.

The Buccos don't really exist here. It's a social night if anything. Losing was accepted long ago.

The guy is in his 60s. He does a good job. Hell, the home team doesn't get him excited. Why not.

I'm in my local sports media. I can tell you that they will have more broadcasting opportunities being neutral announcers than homer announcers. They're getting game tape for a potential career right now.

Scary thing is they have five more games. If Karst is out (likely) they may not win another game. These backups (to be polite) leave a lot to be desired.

They only need to win 3 to stay above .500.
