That’s BS. The defense lost the game, they stayed back in Indiana.

You just might be correct iupgroundhog .....even with the 10 game schedule. Beating both Cal U and Slippery Rock help them. But Cal U can return the favor and beat LIT AF next week, and put IUP back in the Championship Game, IF they take Clarion serious next Saturday.Originally posted by iupgroundhog View PostI'm not surprised. I picked IUP in this game based on loyalty.
In the end, it probably cost them the first round bye.
Gotta move on.
Frankly, if Stewart can make it back it will help.

I thought head to head counted first.Originally posted by ironmaniup View Post
They already lost to rock - 3 way tie. I might be wrong but Iup wins with the tie breaker
IUP shouldn’t want The State Game now. Take the Walk Ons and hope 9-1 gets a decent playoff slot. Let Bagent terrorize LIT AF on the junior high practice field.
Of course LIT AF still has to beat Penn West Mon Valley.

Speaking of State Penn, the Nitwit Kittens are leading THE Overrated State University 21-16 with 9:26 left in regulation.Originally posted by IUPNation View Post
James Franklin Tort.
Also, Hillbilly High (aka WVU) is losing 31-24 with 11:40 left in regulation. And the Purple Kermits are driving. It's been a nail biter in Morgantown (which isn't a surprise, because TCU always seems to struggle against the Hillbillies).Cal U (Pa.) Class of 2014

Here are the tiebreakers (since you asked so nicely):Originally posted by IUPNation View Post

a. Head-to-Head Results among tied teams
b. Record against teams in the division not involved in the tie starting at the top of the standings
c. Overall record in mandated conference games (divisional & crossovers included)
d. Mandated crossover opponents’ aggregate record in their division only games
e. Road wins among the nine PSAC mandated games preceding the Championship Game
f. Record vs. teams in the opposite division starting at the top of the standings
g. Coin toss
Head to head: We can throw that out since Gannon beat IUP, IUP beat Rock and Rock beat Gannon.
Record against teams in the division not involved in the tie starting at the top of the standings: Presuming that IUP beats Clarion, Gannon beats Cal and Rock beats Edinboro, the three tied teams would be 5-0 against the rest of the division.
Overall record in mandated conference games (divisional & crossovers included): This is where Gannon gets tripped up. Presuming the Gannon, IUP and Rock all win, this is where the teams would stand in the PSAC mandated games:
IUP: 9-0
Rock: 8-1
Gannon: 7-2
Gannon's loss to West Chester comes back to bite LIT-AF in the BOOM spot, so they're out.
Now, we start over with IUP and Rock tied for first in the West. IUP holds the advantage based on their win over Rock, so IUP basically wins the West for the right to get clobbered by Shepherd in the State Game.Last edited by ctrabs74; 10-29-2022, 04:51 PM.Cal U (Pa.) Class of 2014
