They all got some run if I remember correctly although I believe Gingerich may have been dinged up a bit prior and didn’t play as much. Watching him throw in warmups though - he’s got a good arm and has good size too. To be fair they didn’t throw the ball a lot as a group but the best ball of the day was thrown by Smith. It was about a 30 yard TD to the back corner of the end zone on what looked like a straight go route. Really nice ball. To my untrained eye his arm looked livelier than the others but again I’m certainly no coach. The defense won the day overall in my estimation. The first unit looked very good. All the QB’s can run to a degree with Gee looking quick.

Bloomsburg is set to start selling a "Husky Lager," brewed by Turkey Hill Brewing Company, at Redman Stadium this year. Those in the area can get a preview taste at a "launch party" at Turkey Hill tomorrow between 4-5:30PM, or on tap throughout the year leading up to the season. I'm a bit surprised by this partnership given the dry campus policy, and think putting the announcement on the BU athletics website one day before the "launch party" is cutting it close, but hopefully it brings in a little bit more revenue to beef up those scholly numbers.“No matter how badly things get blown apart, we will always plant flowers again.”

They already have tailgating with alcohol on campus, so this will be like going into a fenced area like old time church and fireman picnics.
I like Turkey Hill Brewing,so I will try one or six.Last edited by Bart; 06-15-2026, 04:00 PM.

To avoid confusion, Turkey Hill Brewing has nothing to do with Turkey Hill gas stations commonly seen in Lancaster County. Correct?Originally posted by TheBigCat2192 View PostBloomsburg is set to start selling a "Husky Lager," brewed by Turkey Hill Brewing Company, at Redman Stadium this year. Correct. It has an inn and restaurant, started a pub and brewing. They have a fine dining establishment or the pub. Nice place. https://www.innatturkeyhill.com/Originally posted by CC_BU View Post

Not a bad idea. If the team isn't going well, you can head to the tailgate area for a brew.Originally posted by Bart View Post

New Bloom football fans should watch the 4th quarter of the Bloom versus UC Davis football game from 2000 to see what Bloom football used to be, especially the 4th quarter starting around the 1:53 mark. Bloom trailing 48-29, scored 29 unanswered points to win 58-48 over a heavily favored UC Davis team in the National Semi-finals. Coach should make watching it part of preseason.
