Great point. You "could" use one of the Louisiana Southland stadiums if one of their teams are at a road game somewhere in Texas.

I doubt they would travel to Talequah again since they are FCS now.

Wonder if Valdosta and Albany State are close enough to the hurricane to cancel their home games?

Good thing West Alabama has a bye week.

Never heard of a D2 game moving to a neutral site. Both schools would have to pony up big time because if I worked at a school/stadium, I'm not "volunteering" time to work a game I don't care about.

        Stadium rental isn't cheap.

Isn't the NW-Pitt game played at a neutral site?

Ain’t now way an FCS team is going to travel to a D2 stadium to play a game that is otherwise meaningless for both teams, other than WF and NSU to the H and H before WF changed class there is no reason to have this game.

I think this might have been a bigger deal if NE State beat UTPB last weekend and had a chance of finishing their D2 schedule undefeated.
There's no way for a non-D2 game to be counted in the NPI, and I would strongly doubt that the waiver was contingent on this game being played.

Yes, complete with rental fees, guarantees, and insurance riders. It's a whole thing to set something like that up.

Oh C'mon. Northeastern State and East Central created a bowl game out of thin air last year. How difficult can this be?? 🤔 😂

                    • It ended up giving them an extra game and some bragging rights. They made a big deal of it on X.

                      • West Florida was lucky to escape tahlequah with a win last year. No way they would come back.

The Cherokee nation made that bowl game possible with a whole bunch of money.

We had to move a naia semi final playoff game to a neutral site after the first road destroyed our field. This was our 94 national championship run .

I don't see them moving it in less than three days.

This is also the only reason NSU football has suddenly become relevant again. Amazing what a surprise influx of cash can do for a program.

Money is the only reason any program becomes relevant these days.
