They've had a rough stretch here with (at) SRU, East Stroudsburg, (at) Seton Hill, Gannon, (at) Mercyhurst and Pitt-Johnstown.

I include Gannon in there because that's a physical game regardless of the score.

Nice thing is UPJ/Mercyhurst still have to play each other again next week.

There aren't a lot of superior teams in the PSAC this year, but there aren't a lot of easy outs, either. When this year's Shepherd team is likely to be the lowest seed in the East Division half ot the PSAC tournament, easy wins will not be on the card. Ship so far has really had only one blowout, against a Kutztown team missing a couple of key players, in its run through the East. They've controlled a couple of other games, but you never feel one is in the bag until the last 3-4 minutes.

I wouldn't play him in either Clarion/Boro games. Practice some and get him ready for Slippery Rock. A week of low key then Cal. It's a perfect situation to get him some rest.

Joe said they considered sitting Ethan the rest of the regular season but after last nights spirited performance he said it would be hard to do.

I'd be surprised if he plays Saturday at Clarion. That's likely a good spot to give him a day off.
