I'd be surprised to see much of it. I see them slowing the game down tonight. Tomorrow, VSU will have (more) better athletes.

Too bad. They missed a good one.

The thing that jumps out at you is IUP is much, much deeper this year. Tonight they had Armoni Foster, Marko Krivacevic and Chuckie Humphries coming in off the bench. They haven't had that depth in years.

Concord put up a good fight.


The first game was a thriller. It took FOREVER but UPJ pulled out a massive upset. Virginia State, tonight anyway, didn't look anything near what they did a year ago. Maybe it was an off game ... who knows. UPJ played a lot of true freshman. They may be scary good in 1-2 years. If you are sloppy against UPJ ... you will pay for it. Josh Wise is a baller. He has some Brandon Norfleet in him. Of note Drew Magestro is off the UPJ roster. That's a big loss.
