I agree. There is nothing "wrong" with anyone's name. You just don't associate "precious" in our language with a kid the size of a bear. I always got a kick out of Lovie Smith coaching the Bears. I figured he had to be a tough dude to get through football with that moniker.

The biggest news is Bryson Lucas is still there. He entered the Portal when the others left but withdrew. He's battled injuries most of his career but is a very dynamic player when healthy.

Apparently, the Gannon University Women's Basketball team has received commitments from two young ladies. From New Carlisle, Ohio, Sammy Russell has verbally committed to Cleve Wright and she average 21.9 ppg and 9.7 rpg as a junior. Also, Bella Magestro from Kennedy Catholic has committed to the Lady Knights but could not find any stats on her junior year. Being a local product, maybe someone has seen her play?
