Right…which is why I think KWC has to finish at least 2nd with a strong finish and not let an upset team win the GMAC tourney

The game at Findlay will be key. They were vastly overrated a couple weeks ago. And the fact that a couple mid-level teams beat them at their place shows it can be done. That is really the toughest game left on the schedule. Ashland and Lake Erie are decent, but need to hold serve at home against those two. But the winner of the Findlay game Saturday will go a long way into who can host the conference championship.

Yeah, if they lose any of their remianing home guys...I'll be very worried about a bid (they have to avenge their road loss to Lake Erie)...the Findlay and Thomas More road games are the ones I'm worried about.
As a GenX KWC fan who lived through 4 national titles and about a 25 year period where they were going to the tourney pretty much every year in one of the best D2 conferences....its hard for me to deal with the new reality where even a 2nd place finish doesn't guarantee anything.....I've got to care how the 4th place GLIAC team looks.

KWC should win out. They are capable of beating all the teams they play at home and only have Thomas More on the road. No reason they can't reel off 4 W's. BUT, losing Fatih for the year is tough. Ringo has to step up in a big way, though I think he's capable, and Alex T has to start playing some quality minutes. That's a big hit for a post-season run.

Thomas More isn't easy to beat at their place. KWC should win, but you never know.
Findlay has a couple tough matchups left. Hillsdale this week, plus at Ashland and Lake Erie.
Current men's regional projection according to InkBlot only has Findlay getting in. So basically KWC has to win the GMAC to be assured of a bid. Even winning the rest of the regular season games might not do it.

If KWC doesn't get the autobid and fails to get into the tournament, they must strengthen their out of conference schedule. The women got left out in the cold a few years ago by not playing a stronger out of conference schedule. Playing Simmons and IU Southeast does absolutely nothing for their strength of schedule which is about middle of the pack in the region.
