Sounds like a good old fashion handicap match WWE style. Make it an over the top rope challenge.

Winner gets a signed Dayjure Stewart jersey and a cameo in Tort's next epic CO-OP commercial.

The pregame warm-up is always interesting.

I've never got to see a live pregame brawl. I guess in the PSAC us having 3-4, 65-year-old, out of shape officials standing between the teams is enough to keep the players calm. Granted, most pregame engagements you see in D1 more resemble an MLB fight ... lots of talking and jumping up and down ... but no actual fighting.

You have about 3 camps in the warm-up department:

    1) The team that just goes about its business and isn't concerned with the other end of the field

    2) The rah-rah team with the warm-up coach on 13 Red Bulls (i.e. Seton Hill)

    3) The funeral team that looks like it wants nothing to do with what is coming (Clarion)

What I've found over the years is, some days, you can learn an awful lot about what is going to transpire by watching warm-ups. Other days, you can learn absolutely nothing about what is going to transpire.

I've noticed -- time and time again - the team that does all the screaming and hollering ... rarely ever wins the game.

Seton Hill screamed and hollered so much at Miller Stadium that I think they were actually tired by the time the game started.

Oddly, I watched the Seton Hill punter in warm-ups just crush punt after punt. Dude looked like an NFL punter in warm-ups. I was thinking to myself that, well, their offense stinks so he probably punts 10 times a game. Then, of course, in the game he was struggling to punt more than 15 yards. On the flip side, I've seen teams struggle to make a single shot inside the KCAC during warm-ups and then can't miss a shot once the game starts.

Has anyone ever seen his tailgate? It is probably as real as Mastriano’s chances were in the Philly area..

That whole experience up there was an embarrassment to the league. At least they all got to leave (very) early.

Don't be shocked if a few more Vulcans move to Indiana this off-season. Just sayin'

    1. We've never had a indignant message go across our scoreboard to the opposing coach. East Stroudsburg

    2. There has never been a sign saying F*** (whoever was the visitor that day) hanging up for the world to see. Shippensburg

    3. Our mascot never went to visitor side taunt (ok that may have happened in the 80's) and then fans go over to look for fights after a upset win. Millersville.

    4. Bo Napoleon got mugged at Bloomsburg.

Hard to think about recruiting days before the State Game but it never sleeps. Not to mention, the Portal will blow up this Monday as most D2 teams wrap up their seasons this Saturday.

With the transfer rules the way they are today, the days of seeing the fancy D1 transfers are likely over. D2 to D2 will now be the quickest fix in many cases. I suspect many of our schools in the bottom third will have mass casualties next week.

Well, no one at Shippensburg so far as I know kept a grievance file of all the slights opponents have delivered to us over the past 20 years or whatever. The half-dozen or so drunken frat boys who often put up that sign on their apartment balcony at Ship seem to have accomplished their purpose of getting into your head.. IF you want to see some real boorish behavior, try being a Northwestern fan trying to walk by the Ohio State fraternity row to get to Ohio Stadium for a game as I have.

Here's some extra motivation: lose and you'll likely be on a bus for 10 hours (each way) to Boston.
