    No you can not…

Edinboro was a tough out for a long time. Clarion was still a football power in the 80’s..had a revival in the 90’s. Slimey was a big beneficiary of the IUP Rule. Shipoensburg wasn’t bad. Mon Valley and Lock Haven were the long doormats. Nobody was Cheyney/Mansfield bad.

Frank pretty much handled the East during his tenure.

Hes the best coach in Pee Sack History.

Since Denny spearheaded the IUP Rule, we should get their funding as compensation.

It really is much more even. Lock Haven has improved tremendously, and East Stroudsburg certainly has as well. Millersville had a lot of good players leave after they went into a tailspin last year, so will have to see how they bounce back. You could even argue that the East is stronger now than the West is.

The East certainly was stronger last season. IUP's struggles had a lot to do with that as well. I'm sure it will continue to vary from season to season, but the gap has closed a lot. The possible addition of Frostburg State could shift things slightly back to the West's favor.

I’d say each division has three good programs, a few middle of the road and a couple of bottom feeders.

Exactly. Where is your proof? YOU made the claim of "13 guilty schools", so where is your proof?

The fact we had our program knee capped because 13 other schools couldn’t keep up is the proof.

                I’m always right.

I won't argue. Danny Hale is right there with him. We can only speculate what Coach Hale could have done with Frank's resources.

The problem is when you simply make crap up - like on this topic - it damages your credibility on the few times that you might actually be right.

Dr. Evil's role in all this doesn't get discussed enough. He was extremely tired of being Frank's whipping boy (which he was for just about his whole tenure).

                          Im always right.

So why don’t you “do your research” and find out who was behind the rule and who supported it.

The Pee Sack has a bad reputation with long time D2 fans when the league try to push the IUP Rule on all of D2.

Why isn’t IUP’s AD setting up a fundraising campaign to get cash for renovating The Cig?

It’s astonishing how these two doofuses can turn any thread into a pissing match about ancient history. Trying to focus on the present news I think this a good thing for Edinboro. The facilities arms race has died down some at the highest level of college ball now that guys can just get cash from NIL collectives but at this level it still matters some since the NIL “market” is much smaller. A better stadium and other facilities might help Boro draw guys that were considering other less successful PSAC teams or even guys on the line between D2 depth player and D3 starter.

Ok so this “doofus” will now rail why IUP gets nothing from a Harrisburg to upgrade sports facilities but failing triad campuses get cash to upgrade sports venues for rapidly dwindling enrollments. I’m glad Clarion has a renovated Fieldhouse but wasn’t it really a waste of money that could have been better spent at IUP?

IUP has a slew of new buildings, tearing down old ones but still the same 63 year old foosball facility and an outdated Fieldhouse that could bE repurposed. Zink Is old too. Why isn’t IUP getting cash to renovate? Why did Cal get an arena with no conditions?
