WTAMU will host Colorado Mines on September 4:

That leaves three probable open dates left among LSC schools (Western Oregon with two, CWU with one), one open MIAA date (Central Missouri) and Colorado Mesa with one, which hasn't confirmed their schedule.

EDIT: Not officially confirmed, but it appears that Central Washington will play Colorado Mesa, but since neither team has posted their schedules yet, I'm not saying it's official yet. Also, Western Oregon will play NAIA Southern Oregon (per SOU's schedule) and The California Polytechnic State University (comma) San Luis Obispo (or, if you prefer, Cal Poly), so we can take the LSC off that list.

The updated SR4 non-conference availability as of March 28:

      LSC: No openings
MIAA: 1 opening (Central Missouri - schedule has not been posted)
      RMAC: No openings
      GAC: No openings (silo schedule)
I think they call it calpoly slo

Have you seen the rest of their schedule? Wondering if they are playing Central Missouri in Week 1.

Davenport hasn't released their schedule (I got the Davenport-Gannon game from Gannon's schedule).

Doesn't appear so. As of now it sounds like DU is working on an 11th game for week 4 so week 1 would be their bye.

I see GV has only 10 games scheduled, with two weeks in a row off. Do you think there is a chance a road game is scheduled for one of those off dates? Wisconsin - LaCrosse has an open date on September 27. They have only 9 games scheduled.

I'm assuming they said no. I do know that GV went to unprecedented lengths to get a game scheduled either week 3 or 4 and the list of teams that said no is very long.

I figured they made a good effort. The season schedule is a couple months late this year. Personally, I don't like not playing for two weeks.

I'm thinking that they are still trying to get another game. Strong rumor is that numerous teams said no... even lesser competitive ones. I just don't get why they would turn it down. More so if their cost is minimal and the potential to play in front of a large crowd is high.
I hope they score one more contest, but sadly I wouldn't be holding my breath for it. Here's hoping though.

Given the number of injuries the team has sustained the last two seasons at major positions, I'm kind of fine with the team having three weeks off after their second-toughest game of the season.

Davenport plays Lincoln (CA) on Thursday 9/25, which should about do it for all the GLIAC schedules, unless GV, Saggy, or Roosevelt manage to snag an 11th game at the last minute

Ugh. I wish schools would stop scheduling that grifter of a school.

Indeed they was. And just starting a football program. Been an NAIA school for decades. My guess is they are making the move to D2 very soon. Malone, Walsh, etc. use to be in the same conference with them. They are either headed to the Mountain East or the GMAC. I am sure both conferences would take them. Solid school with a lot of Bob Evans money (the man not the restaurant chain he founded). They would instantly be more stable in the GMAC than about 4 or 5 other schools in that league.

But Ferris State playing Rio Grande in football is ridiculous. I am sure no FCS school will play Ferris for fear of losing to them (which they most likely would). And most D2 schools don't want to get pummeled either. Hopefully nobody gets seriously hurt!

SVSU at New Haven September 20th. Looks like they were able to get an 11th game after all
