I haven't heard from FB coaches but everyone else I've talked to in the Athletic Dept has said Osborn is the play caller

that could be. i just thought i remembered something from the beginning of the season that they were co coordinators. granted that was awhile ago, and could have changed at any point. ha ha, or i could just be wrong.

This isn't a today thing. This is a 22 game sample size thing. Everything prior to that was the same for 6 years. One man left. And the offense tanked with what was left. B97 brought up a good point. Is BWright better today than he was in game 1? No, that's not all on the playcalling. But it's the same dudes doing both calling plays and developing. I understand it's a tough call. It's the inherent risk with continuously hiring your own. But when the day comes you have to be able to make the tough decision.

Flohr and Osborn have to go. If not, the NW dynasty is dead. NW will have essentially followed the Pitt State model twice. Once to rise up and the second into irrelevance. Who knew how much ineptitude AD was covering for?

I did...nobody wanted to listen...but don't limit it to play calling...it starts with OL play and OL toughness.

You're right but I think that was just to soften the blow that Rich was demoting Charlie, hence co coordinators. I think in all essence it's Joel running the offensive side though.

TBH, I felt like NW left a lot on the field when they played LU with the amount of talent they trotted out there vs. us.

It's not an OL thing no matter how much you want it to be. NW hasn't been "nasty" for years on the OL. AD was able to scheme around any issues at OL. Won 3 Nattys without it. I'll take those results.

Yeah, pass blocking with terrific QB play. Never needed to take pressure off a fresh QB with a running game.

Are you sure you want Hays to make the playoffs again this year? The pucker factor was real last year.

there you go again with that hyperbole. you won. you didn't kick anyone. your backup got it done in the 1st quarter. that was all it took, but certainly not domination and you know it. you won, fair and square, but don't act like either one of these teams is a world beater.
