    Re: OT-LSC Baseball

After winning game 1 against ENMU today by a score of 15-2, ASU is averaging 11 runs per game in conference play, while giving up less than 4. This offense is on an absolute tear for the better part of 3 weeks. Hopefully the hits continue and the pitching can round into form down the stretch. Tournament time might be tough for us due to our pitching staff being very limited after the first 3-4 guys.

Swept the series by a combined scored of 56-15, I believe. Granted Eastern isn't very good, but that offense is playing on a different level right now. Saw a stat, that we are 27-3 in our last 30 games with 2 of those coming at WT.
          Got to keep it rolling.

56-15...avg 14 runs vs 3.75 runs per game. ASU offense is CRAZY hot!!!

To give perspective, the Buffs vs Hounds had a combined score of 28-9....avg 7 runs vs 2.25 runs per game.

My goodness!!!!! Hope the Rams keep this up down the stretch.

An ASU player leads the conference in every offensive statistic except for doubles (Nick Seginowich is 1 back) and stolen bases.
Josh Elvir leads the conference (and the country) in batting average hitting an eye popping .466 with 55 hits, 9 doubles, 6 triples, 14 home runs with 55 RBI, a slugging % of 1.00, 35 walks, on base % of .595, and only 27 strike outs on the season.

Think today's dubya seals the deal for ASU.

ASU sweeps TAMUK and gets 17th straight win....also winning LSC Championship outright.

                      Rams are on FIRE!!!

                      Great highlights....

Not sure if anyone is watching, but WT vs Cameron is a h3ll of a ballgame thus far. 6-5 Cameron top of the 5th.

Not sure Cameron will handle WT in later innings.

It was a good game to watch, especially if you're a WT fan. Buffs now 39-9.

Final game was good too......but not for WT fans, as they dropped a close one. 5-6 Cameron.

                              WT finishes 39-10 overall & 18-6 LSC.

Also, just found out that regardless if we win the regular season title, we will not host the conference tournament due to a scheduling conflict with one of the JUCO regional tournaments that is being played at ASU that same weekend.
THIS is REALLY jacked-up!!!!!! Could cost ASU the LSC Tournament Championship! WHO IN THE WORLD MADE THIS DECISION?????????

Now #2 WT gets home field advantage. *SMDH*

Hopefully, the Rams are good enough to take it home, regardless.
