That ought to be very interesting. Glenville State leads D2 in scoring, 96.2 ppg. WT gives up @ 60 ppg. This could be a very tough draw for the Lady Buffs. Noon CDT Monday.

96 points per game?? That's like an NBA average. Are they that good or is their conference bottom dwellers that bad to run up the score?

Just looked up their site. They are 32-1 and broke 100 points several times. Looks like they hit 80 all 3 times in the regional tournament.

May be time to run that princeton type offense to use the whole shot clock to slow things down.

I have watched 3 of Glenvilles' games online. The LSC is a much stronger conference than the MEC. The only thing that concerns me is Glenville States' substitution pattern. It's the NHL style
line change - 5 at a time. Depth off of the bench has been an issue for Wt most of the year. Wt will need to control the pace of the game and shoot well. Should be a good game.

            • That didn't work out so great. Greenville must be loaded with some future WMBA players.

Yeah that was a quick death. 103-56. Final. WT was down 69-24 at the half. If that was a #3 seed hate to see what the #1 seed is capable of. Maybe D1 basketball doesn't see too promising after all.

At any rate great season getting to the national quarterfinals.

No, their girls are in the 5'7" to 5'11" range, however, they can really shoot the ball. 65% in the first half.

Alivia Lewis led the way for the Lady Buffs in her final collegiate game as the Los Lunas, New Mexico product went 6-of-15 from the floor including a perfect 2-of-2 from the free-throw line for a team-high 14 points to go along with nine rebounds, one assist, and two steals. Karley Motschenbacher finished the game going 5-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-4 from behind the arc for 12 points while dishing out a team-high three assists.

Zakiyah Winfield paced the high-powered GSC offense as the junior guard went 8-of-14 from the floor including 5-of-5 from the free-throw line for a game-high 22 points to go along with eight boards, two assists, and three steals. The Lady Pioneers went 38-of-73 (52.1%) from the field including 14-of-25 (56%) from behind the arc and a perfect 13-of-13 from the charity stripe with 44 rebounds, 18 assists, 17 turnovers, one block, and 10 steals.

The Lady Buffs end their season with an overall record of 26-11 as first-year head coach Josh Prock led WT to the program's eighth South Central Regional Championship while also claiming the LSC Regular Season and Tournament Titles.

                          • GEEZ-US. I sure wasn't expecting that! YIKES!!!! Getting beat by a point or even 8-10 is one thing. THIS had to be so hard and a major let down for those girls. What a shame. That's a tough one to swallow.

But, up until this game, the Lady Buffs had an incredible season. CONGRATS!

They shot 65% in the first half. I've never seen a team shoot that well before.
