Still two practice squad positions left to fill, but so far no Zylstra.

            Detroit signed him to theirs.

            It's mentioned in this article:

Detroit Lions sign QB Steven Montez to practice squad (freep.com)

"The Lions also signed linebacker Tavante Beckett, receiver Sage Surratt and tight end Shane Zylstra to the practice squad, with the signings of Surratt and Zylstra announced by their agent on Twitter."

If Thielen wasn't with the Vikings I'd spend zero time on them at all. As is I don't even watch their games anymore.

Probably the same for me, with the addition of CJ Ham.

Chance Bowen (DE) is out for the season with a knee injury. He also missed all of 2019 with an injury as well. He showed a ton of potential in 2018, have to wonder if he’ll play again.

                    Damn… that guy just can’t get a damn break….

                    • Todd was really excited for Chance this year after he was lost immediately in the 2019 campaign. Really tough deal for a player after all the time off with COVID also, etc.

                      • So that was a hell of a scare. NSU looks good, our D needs work and we obviously really miss our All-American WR and RB. Is Ekowa still the guy? Had a couple rushing TD's but we always knew he could run.

I think Ekowa is what he is. He can do more with his legs than with his arm.

Was hoping we'd blow out and see what we have behind him

                            • I didn’t catch the game vs UMD because I was actually on a date (hehe) but sounds like I didn’t miss much.

just from some of the quick clips and stats that I looked at, It sounds like the mavs are a huge resemblance to the 2016 team that went 8-3. There are still nine games left but that is where I am seeing this team right now and now it’s clearly a retooling/rebuilding season for them.

                              • While I still think they are miles away from being like the 2019 team. They have been playing much better and I’m now starting to think they could make another deep run instead of a 8-3 type season. They will have a tough test with Wayne this Saturday but I don’t think they’ll overlook them like they did with Northern. Go mavs!
