I feel like Longwood is where Precious came from lolOriginally posted by gman16506 View Post
And then there is the story of K J McClurg who left California and went to D-1 Longwood and averaged 7 ppg and 18 minutes last year (this year I believe injuries have done him in). Have visited Longwood a couple of times and its a beautiful school but hardly a powerhouse. Point being that potential transfers need to consider the risks involved as it doesn't always work out. It's kinda like Cleve Wright told me once.......men only want one thing and that is to say they played Division One. Women recruits will ask what can your school do for me on an academic basis and do not get as hung up on the D-1 thing as the men.

And thats even more reason I believe he'll be gone. I think a lot of these players are probably sold on "go here, get your stats up and move up".Originally posted by TheMadLibs View Post
It is. It's also where Gannon's 2nd assistant under Fee went after Fee left. No doubt how Precious got here.

Here's the thing: this is the least aggressive IUP team in 20 years. WCU plays playground basketball.Originally posted by Scrub View Post
You probably got T'd up. Everybody else did.
IUP fouls - 28
WC fouls - 18
It was a travesty. Total embarrassment for the league to have three idiots officiating a big game.

This officiating crew obviously hates Joe or was pissed at him. The more he complained the worse it got. Then Joe got the T, well deserved but the call was God awful and Joe had to unleash.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post

Ship had a couple of games like that this year. The Raiders were one of the smaller teams in the league and not particularly aggressive, yet we found ourselves on the bad end of some pretty big disparities in foul calls. It was especially noticeable at home where we don't seem to get the kind of home cooking from officials we see otherwise. When you're a halfcourt defensive team playing a pressing, aggressive team that constantly has its hands on your players, yet you look up at the scoreboard and see your team has five fouls while the other guys have two, it gets pretty ridiculous. In the final stats for the season we were fairly even with opponents in free throws, but a couple of games really stood out.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post

It was a credit to IUP to win with such a disparity.

AND 3 of those IUP missed free throws were by the PSAC leading scorer Dallis Dillard.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View Post

Nobody is talking about it but that game winning shot came on the halftime buzzer beating 3 pointer from Ian Herring.
