  • Gannon women win 55-47 despite shooting 3/25 from the field in the second half. Took advantage of a hot start and the Golden Bears rallied from a 12 point deficit to tie but KU never took the lead. Should secure an NCAA bid with the win. Onto a rematch with Cal.

No shame. Ship is a fantastic team.

        • Hats off to Jake Biss on a memorable career. He'll be making some coin overseas this time next year. An ultimate gym rat.

            • The house went 1-1 yesterday. Not good. Time to make some money today.

              Millersville at IUP

While this is the second meeting this year, very little is similar. The Marauders came to Indiana in a bit of a funk, fresh of a 32-point loss in Johnstown. IUP was also in a mess -- playing their first game post-Shawndale Jones. IUP was up 11 at halftime and won the game, 81-58.

Fast forward and both teams are hot. Millersville has won 15 of its past 16 games. IUP has won 13 in a row. The Crimson Hawks have won the past 7 meetings in the series.

The teams' makeup is fairly similar. The starters for both log heavy minutes. Big guards. Tough post players.

Marauders' star guard James Sullivan scored 30 of his teams 59 points yesterday -- including hitting 6 of 9 from outside. Outside of Sullivan, Millersville as a whole didn't shoot the ball well yesterday -- finishing 38.9% from the floor. IUP also shot a season-low 33.3%.

Both defenses played superb. Holding Mercyhurst and Shippensburg to just 53 and 44 points is very impressive.

Points will be at a premium again today.

But, as said all week, IUP is favored in their building until it loses. Crimson Hawks win a dog fight. IUP -3

                      • Some props need given.

The last (3) years the PSAC has played, the PSAC has won the region -- ESU, Ship and IUP.

This year the West was incredible. Three of the final four at the Regional were from the PSAC West.

Several years ago Fairmont State coach Jerrod Calhoun won the Regional and smuggly said the MEC was the best conference..

Maybe it was that night. But, it isn't tonight.

Cheers to the PSAC. The league was incredible this year. Ship could have won the Regional and didn't even get invited.

                              PLEASE be at Seton Hill.

                              The West needs more KR.

Nobody excites the KCAC more than KR.
