Miami finishes the regular season 31-0 in an overtime thriller at Ohio U. Another narrow escape obviously won’t endear them to the crowd that would rather see the 8th or 9th team from your P4 conference of choice make the Dance, but 31-0 in college basketball is impressive no matter who your playing. I’m betting they’re in regardless of how the MAC tournament plays out.

I’d assume it’s either the opponent or the regular season champion which in both cases would be Long Island U, so I’m assuming they are headed to the tournament.

NEC has long been one of the weak sisters of D1. Its champion usually gets fed to one of the top two or three seeds in the tourney.

Downtown...the Atlantic 10 tournament is being held at PPG. Duquesne got a 7 seed and a first round bye. St. Bonaventure, who is allegedly also forcing out their coach, is still playing.

Further east, Bob's School of Business is heading back to Indianapolis to play in the Horizon League semifinals against Detroit Mercy. If they win, they'll likely play #1 seed Wright State in the final.
