It will be bittersweet having Bellarmine in for the last time tonight. Have been an ISUE and USI fan for years I remember when it wasn't considered much of a rivalry. Road trips to Louisville meant fried chicken at the game and 3.2 beer in a half empty gym. That all changed when coach Davenport came. They started winning big and with the loss of Wesleyan instantly became our biggest rivalry. Fueled by coach Davenport's caustic sideline demeanor and his success in recent years recruiting right in our own back yard. Can't count how many times I've heard our envious fans say how they "love the way Bellermine moves the ball and plays defense." I'm going to miss one of the last three remaining initial members of the GLVC, their knowledgeable fans, the Irish Pub in Louisville before games and watching them play as a team. I won't miss the coach working the refs successfully for 40 minutes, conceding well wishes to them in the NCAA tourney after we have been eliminated and I sure won't miss 40+ point losses on our home court like a few years ago. Their success in the NCAAs brought accolades to the conference and that will be missed. It will be fun watching their transition to division one. I wish them all the success........................................... ..........................................NEXT YEAR.

Sigh. 1-4 in conference now, and not one of those games was ever really completely out of reach. This team needs to find it's identity and quickly, before it's too late. Lots of talent but lots of mistakes. Too many turnovers, allowing far too many 2nd chance points. Glad to see Kobe back in action, though he did not contribute much to the scoring tonight. Hope he gets better from here.

There was no diversity in his Presidential box at the game...all one race...including Calloway who handed him the Presidency...after the search committee didn't even have Robama in their final four. Robama is all face and no action. He won't give raises but he wants to spend $350,000 to upgrade his offices.
He doesn't care about anything other than minority recruitment and basketball attendance. He's a complete joke and a waste of about $350,000 in salary and benefits. USI will continue to fall deeper and deeper into debt under Robama and may never dig themselves out.
It's a shame that nobody read the writing on the wall while he was Provost under Alphabet Bennett, the signs were all there, he ran off too many good faculty members and the two of them spent way to much on hush money so people wouldn't talk about all of the bad things they were doing!
