    Those guys were great players that played defense for IUP, but I personally just think Max was above everyone else. Much respect for your great articles in the Indiana gazette.

    Just saying when you're comparing great football players, I'm not really impressed that one guy might be somewhat faster than another. If stats don't lie, then Haslett, who had a lengthy career in the NFL, is certainly the better player.

    This back and forth over IUP defenders reminded me one of my favorites from my time at IUP, LB Kris Griffin. He ended up hanging in the NFL for a few years. His younger brother Kirby probably had more talent but him and WR Joe Slappy beat the snot out of bouncer outside wolfies if I remember right and ended up at Cal.
