Our coaches need to to have their heads extracted from their rear ends.

The Dementia DonOLD curse marches on…so glad you all had a fun day that day.

That was one ugly first half offensively.

IUP was extremely lucky it was just 13-0 at halftime.

They had some awful misfortune (the roughing the punter, etc). The WRs dropped at least 5 balls in the first half. Karst would have thrown in to quadruple coverage if it existed. SH got some crazy calls in the first half. Combine it all with the expected (normal) IUP slow start ... it was a perfect storm.

I'll give Karst a lot of credit. He was completely lost in the first half. He did a total turnaround at halftime. The crowd was yelling for Nico. People were screaming up at Larry Wilson. Once Karst realizes he doesn't have to throw every ball to Massey good things suddenly start happening. SH had two dudes on Massey all day. Karst still kept throwing to him. Nobody could cover Ridley one on one. And, don't get me started on the way they ignore having two stud TEs. I was the happiest guy in there to see Laney get that TD to start the scoring.

Younger (you know the forgotten RB they moved to defense) ... he was a warrior today. In many ways he saved their season for another week.

Aside really from one play (long run) I thought the defense played fantastic. The offense did everything it could to screw them in the first half and they hung in there.

It was a gutsy comeback. That place was dead at halftime.

For being a Catholic school SH may be the dirtiest talking team I've ever seen in person. Lol. Goodness. Earplugs. They talked a little too much and it backfired. They finally woke up the bear.

            • IUP now plays competitive games with Seton Hill. That’s where the program is at now. Not only that, but Clarion just beat Edinboro. That loss last week is completely inexcusable. I think we’re going to find out that Slippery Rock isn’t that great also. They really should have two losses right now. Cal’s loss to Charleston early in the year suddenly doesn’t look so bad. They have to be licking their chops heading into this weekend when they can basically wrap up a trip to the State Game while ending IUP’s season in the process.

Catholic school kids are among the worst..as I was bullied mercilessly in Catholic school. It’s why I loathe all organized religion. It’s all hypocrisy. Both my grade school and high school are kaput. I don’t really miss either of them. IUP closing or getting merged with some glorified high school would be far more hurtful..,

                • He's already transferred once, but if the Clarion QB has any eligibility left IUP should offer him the world. Dude is flying under the radar. Mobile, elusive, accurate, and a quick release. Just undersized at 5-11.

Seton Hill had Cal cooked 8 days ago. Keep that in mind. Clarion really had Cal cooked two weeks ago before choking in the final minutes.

We'll see what happens. But, I know for sure it's real difficult for a team to be 'up' two weeks in a row. Cal was certainly juiced up yesterday.

SRU's weakness (pass defense) played directly in to Cal's strength.

Vulcans are definitely favored next week. But, Tort's teams always play their best when they are perceived as the dog. It wouldn't shock me if IUP goes down there and wins. Tort's teams are so F'd up mentally that you never know which version you'll get.

                        • If Kutztown doesn’t easily win the title it will be shocking.

Why the polls had Slimey ranked higher than the Fighting Amish was baffling.

You never know what version you're going to get describes just about every school in our league. Kutztown has been the exception. They've been pretty consistent. Most of the teams alternate between looking great and looking terrible.

If you just watched the second half of SRU's games with Boro, IUP, and Cal you would expect that "The Rock" would have a losing record. IUP's Jekyll and Hyde act we know all too well. Bloomsburg, Ship, WCU, Ville, SHU, Clarion, you never know what you're going to get.

What's going on with Monaco? Younger was the ONLY RB yesterday. Nobody else got a carry. Younger played great and ended up over 100 yards (105 yds.-21 carries). But Monaco's availability is a key thing. Houser? The participation report shows that he played yesterday. Same with Washington.

Washington has a massive cast on his right hand. He's playing special teams. The cast may come off this week which would put him back at RB.

Houser is dressing solely as a 'spot' back to give JD a snap or two off to catch his breath. Houser at best is like 50 percent.

Monaco injured his groin early at Edinboro and missed the final three quarters up there and all of yesterday. He may be done for the season - certainly the next couple games.

The FB is actually the backup RB right now until Washington gets back.

I'd guess if needed they'd move Cy Clark to RB.
