How far back? Blake Bolles back, Lambo back, or Chris Greisen back?

              • this comment doesn’t speak to the selection of jo personally bc he’s had success at benedictine and i’ve only heard good things over the years but to pivot this quickly to that choice indicates to me that the search was lazy. if it doesn’t work out the ad needs to go.

                • If Northwest were to hire Osborn, I think it would be a very good hire. He has done very well at Benedictine and has plenty of experience at Northwest as we all know.

Definitely kept it within the family with this hire if true.

Is the Athletic Director a home boy? If so, maybe he should have been out the door first.

Until someone is officially hired, and it’s announced, I don’t consider it a “done deal.” Call me crazy.

Exactly- nothing is official until the contracts are signed and the press conference is held. I have heard stories of coaches being offered a position, accepting, and told that the contract was being FedEx-ed overnight. The contract didn’t show up the next day and that evening the school held a press conference announcing another coach.

                              • Joel has his 9-2 Ravens in Ft Worth 2:00 pm 11/30 for a round of 16 game vs 10-0 Tx Wesleyan in the NAIA playoffs.
                                I’m sure that’s his #1 priority now.
