On paper wouldn't be a bad get. Very Brian Wright like hire. Plus although he has NW ties they are well in the rearview mirror and he has sharpened his coaching acumen elsewhere. If this was the hire I'd give it 5/5

Oh if only it were that easy!!! Northwest will have to beef up their recruiting budget, their number of assistant coaches, and for sure find some cheating/slush fund NIL cash before much changes no matter who they bring into coach. I am absolutely certain that many D-2 schools would really like to have the staff at NW....but....It is a results based business, and everyone in those seats, (coaches and administration) knew that when they signed on.
I just want all involved, fans and "supporters" included, to remember that there are real people involved, that love the university and community just as they do. That is what makes this situation so difficult. Many of the personalities being criticized are true Bearcats, and have been a big part of the past success. We have to be very careful of what we wish for, and understand that the grass isn't always greener....but.....maybe it is?

Since Covid NW has been on a downward trend…2 losses in ‘21, 3 in ‘22 4 in ‘23 & 5 in ‘24. If rw/ts return will it result in NW’s 1st losing season since ‘94??

FWIW Joel Osborne ( who Sturdy replaced) has his team at 9-2, co-conf champs and in the NAIA playoffs again…hmm
