National search done by someone other than good old boy donors and the admins who are beholding to them.

I hear Mike Norvell might be available.

I talked to him after the game. A sinus infection kept me from attending but i did get some time with him....especially talking about my Dad's health issues.

As stated, Dr Jazz and 1-2 other issues have soured him on NW and that sourness is still there. AP would definitely have to go and more staff positions would have to be added ......along with a hefty pay raise to get his attention to head back.

That said, he likes what he's got going at UCO and if he continues getting better why back to NW? He's got loftier goals than D2.....

Unless local family heath issues popped up. That happens I'm not sure what he'd do. Going through that now and it tends to change your outlook on thing's. .

          1-2 if I recall....

Ok, if RW gets canned, I say a phone call should be made to Hutchinson, KS. Drew Dallas has gone 38-4 in the last four seasons (6-0 this year) as head coach. He has D2 expierence (former Angelo State OC, QB at Fort Hays State) and he's been at the championship level and won (NJCAA Championship)

If you want to continue going with the tree, Joel Osborn is pretty impressive so far at Benedictine.

              • Maybe Buddy Stephens from East Mississippi Community College. He seems to keep players in line and has a good resume. Or better yet, how about that Jets coach that Aaron Rodgers had canned. At least he would have the Green wardrobe already.

If you continue with the tree, you only have to go to John McMenamin and nowhere else.

I took a look online...is he even still in coaching? I couldn't find anything about where he is now?

                                From the article https://www.nola.com/sports/tulane/t...e176f5d25.html

"That opening developed because former Tulane wide receivers coach John McMenamin resigned suddenly to spend more time with his family..."

The article was from July 2023 and is the latest update I could find in my brief search.
