Sure. Next time Arkansas has a winning record, check out how many fresh new Razorback stickers there are on bass boats and pickup trucks around these parts. A lot of these so-called supporters couldn't qualify to sweep the floors at the university, but they'll b!tch and moan to fire the coach as if they have some sort of skin in the game. All that nonsense is probably limited to Arkansas, you wouldn't have any of that in Texas.

0.0% chance TCU hired an FCS head coach to replace Patterson. Craig Bohl won 3 Nattys at NDSU and the best FBS job he got offered was Wyoming.

Coaching Univ of Wyoming up in Laramie is not a bad gig. Craig has the Cowboys in the right direction. Won a few games this year in the MWC.

Kansas is and will always be a basketball school. Other schools who try to become relevant in football need to get a clue as well like Colorado, Minnesota, just to name a few. Colorado needs to stick to championship ski. .

Both Duke & Kentucky have dominant basketball programs as well. The football programs at those two schools have been better than average lately. Probably won't win any NC, but seem to be fairly competitive.

The Big 12 should lobby to get Arkansas to join and even throw a bone to Nebraska which is another program that hit the crap fan when they left for greener pastures. Or so they thought? Corn has and never will fit in the Big 10.

And many in Baton Rouge are not happy with the SEC right now. Especially after that disgrace of what was called officiating at Collie Station the other night. Yes both team got screwed on several calls, but when you play five hours of football and only get called for 3 penalties for 24 yards in which two were false starts, while the other gets 100 plus... yea something stinks.

This makes more sense than a lot of hires...an AD he has worked well with before, in a state that he can obviously recruit well. In an area that is surrounded by talent with a guy who has skins on the wall as a head coach and a program builder. But because it makes this much sense, it is not going to happen!

As long as the Big 12 is going to allow the Shoehorns to have their own Network and unequal sharing of revenues no school in their right mind in another P5 Conference will join.
